Why SUP?
It's no wonder that paddleboarding is fast becoming one of Scotland's most popular watersports - it's easy to learn, relaxing, and a truly unique way to enjoy our stunning beaches
Need a wetsuit?
We have a good selection of wetsuits available,
which can be added to your rental if required.
Our wetsuits are also available to hire
for those who are not paddleboarding (dependent on availability)
What's included?
Your SUP (stand-up paddle) rental will include:
an inflatable paddleboard, board rucksack,
pump, paddle, buoyancy aid
Need some help?
We have two sizes of boards available, and can help you to choose which size is best for you. We also have a wealth of local knowledge to help you find the best and safest spots to paddle, and to ensure you have fun on the water
Beginners
MACHRINS
Machrins is the perfect spot to try out paddleboarding for the first time. When the tide is in, the bay is large, fairly shallow and sometimes even warm!
Paddleboarding is an easy activity to get the hang of, but if you would prefer a lesson you can book in with Jen (see 'SUP Lessons' section for prices)
Intermediate
Kiloran Bay
On a calm day, Kiloran is simply stunning to paddle the length of. It's very weather-dependent though, as an offshore wind could see you accidentally heading off to Mull for your holiday! For this reason, we would only recommend taking your board here if you are confident on your board, or if it is a very calm day.
If you are in doubt about where to go, feel free to get in touch with Jen, who can help you find a suitable spot.
